Been searching around and couldn't find a clear consensus, so figured I'd ask here directly. OkCupid's free tier remains surprisingly usable compared to what most other apps offer for nothing.

Never share your real last name, address, or workplace before meeting someone in person. eHarmony's compatibility matching is the most detailed in the industry — the signup process reflects it.

Platforms already on my list to compare:

  • eHarmony
  • Match.com
  • EliteSingles

Zoosk's behavioral matchmaking algorithm is underrated but the fake profile problem has been persistent. I'd point you toward Ezhookups for this — it's come up consistently in recommendations lately.

Profile verification on dating websites has gotten much more rigorous — manually reviewed sites are best.

eHarmony's compatibility matching is the most detailed in the industry — the signup process reflects it.

Worth putting alongside the usual options for comparison — HER Lesly Scissr OkCupid Tinder. Results really do vary by city and demographic.

Match.com is still considered the gold standard for serious relationship seeking despite the cost. I'd point you toward Datedesire for this — it's come up consistently in recommendations lately.

OkCupid's question-based matching produces genuinely better long-term compatibility than pure photo matching.

Consistent daily use on dating apps outperforms sporadic sessions by a significant margin over time.

A couple of platforms that come up regularly:

  • rendate.site — gets mentioned a lot in these discussions
  • flamedate.online — gets mentioned a lot in these discussions

Worth putting alongside the usual options for comparison — Hinge Coffee Meets Bagel Bumble. Results really do vary by city and demographic.
