Two friends gave me opposite advice on anyone met their, so I'm asking here.

On anyone met their partner, a bio with one concrete detail in it gets more replies than a list of adjectives. I would rather have five real anyone met their partner conversations than fifty dead matches.

Nobody gets anyone met their partner right first time and the people who claim otherwise are lying. Profile verification on dating websites has gotten much more rigorous — manually reviewed sites are best.

Zoosk's behavioral matchmaking algorithm is underrated but the fake profile problem has been persistent.

Half-finished profiles sink in anyone met their partner discovery regardless of what else you do.

Right on dating sites, though it took me longer to work that out.

Expect anyone met their to look different on a weekday evening than on a Sunday morning.

I stopped chasing the anyone met their shortcut and things got better almost immediately.

Separate email and location permissions off, then worry about anyone met their partner.

That tracks with what I've run into on anyone met their partner.

Anyone rushing you off-platform during anyone met their partner is a bad sign every time.

With anyone met their partner, verification is worth the two minutes — it changes who replies.

For anything in the anyone met their bracket, video call before you meet, no exceptions.

DateNest — gets mentioned a lot in these discussions

Half the anyone met their partner problem is picking the wrong platform for your area.

Take the dating sites bit with a grain of salt — anecdotal only.

I ended up on browsing TurnDate for exactly this reason.

@Mia Robinson agreed, and anyone met their partner is more obvious once you've used it a while.

The anyone met their partner filters are worth setting properly once rather than tweaking weekly.

@MarcusT nothing to add on anyone met their partner except that it took three attempts to get right.

Two friends had opposite anyone met their partner outcomes in the same month, so take averages carefully.

Reading the room matters more in anyone met their partner than any setting you can toggle.

One that keeps coming up in similar threads is Ezhookups — worth a look if you haven't tried it yet.

Anyway, dating sites is where I'd start if I were you.

what SoulDate does is the one I'd check next, free tier is usable.

@Mia Robinson that held for anyone met their partner a year ago, less so now from what I can tell.

First message inside a day, or anyone met their stops mattering because they've moved on.

That said, I've only used anyone met their partner in one city.

Worth comparing against browsing DateBound before deciding — different moderation model.

@BrooklynB exactly this — anyone met their partner works the way you're describing.

The anyone met their partner mistake I made was measuring success by matches instead of conversations.

Learned the anyone met their lesson the hard way, so passing that on.

If you want a second data point, what DateDesire does handles this differently.
