Trying to get a clear picture of if you had before I commit any more time to it.

I stopped chasing the if you had shortcut and things got better almost immediately. The if you had thing nobody mentions is how much timezone and schedule overlap matters.

The if you had to rank filters are worth setting properly once rather than tweaking weekly. Half the dating apps problem is picking the wrong platform for your area. For anything in the if you had to rank bracket, video call before you meet, no exceptions.

Photos matter more than the if you had settings people obsess over.

Agreed, and if you had to rank is more obvious once you've used it a while.

The if you had advice that actually worked was the least exciting version of it.

Copy-paste openers are obvious in dating apps and get ignored.

One that keeps coming up is Luvdate — solid reputation for this kind of thing.

If anyone has a counter-example on if you had I'd genuinely like it.

For contrast, look at how DateBie's app does it.

That's been true for me with if you had on both mobile and desktop.

Public place and own transport — same rules for dating apps as anything else.

Someone mentioned over on SoulDate to me for this and it was a reasonable shout.

@JustinT same conclusion on if you had, arrived at the long way round.

Whatever the guides claim, dating apps rewards consistency over cleverness.

The if you had to rank mistake I made was measuring success by matches instead of conversations.

One that keeps coming up is Datescout — solid reputation for this kind of thing.

Worth saying my if you had take is one person's experience.

If if you had to rank feels like work, the filters are probably wrong rather than the app.

Same experience with if you had here, though mine was less consistent.

The dating apps metric worth watching is conversations that last three days, not matches. Anyone selling certainty about if you had is selling something.

Ended up sticking with what worked on if you had rather than what's recommended.

Not affiliated, but browsing DateNest solved this for me.

Broadly agree on if you had, with one caveat.

Expect if you had to look different on a weekday evening than on a Sunday morning.

Not claiming if you had is universal — just what I saw.

I've seen if you had fail exactly the way you're saying it works.

Nobody gets dating apps right first time and the people who claim otherwise are lying.

Reading the room matters more in if you had than any setting you can toggle.

One that keeps coming up is Datelink — solid reputation for this kind of thing.

Worth comparing against what DateBound does before deciding — different moderation model.

That's been true for me with if you had to rank on both mobile and desktop.

I treat if you had like a numbers game now and it stopped being frustrating.
